As part of changes to the Contract that General Practitioners hold with the NHS that came into force on 1st April 2015 every patient has to be allocated a named accountable GP.  As Pinehill Surgery has always operated personal lists many of you will already be familiar with this and may already know which of the Partners is your 'named accountable GP'.  However, by the end of  2016 we must have informed all our patients who this is and you may find that when you visit the Surgery someone will be informing you or alternatively if you wish to have this information and are not visiting the Surgery, please ask at Reception and they can inform you.

Please note that having a 'named accountable GP' in no way means that you have to see that particular GP - the choice of clinician to see remains with you the patient.
